Wayne and Terry Baltz are the authors of The Invisible Kid series (RL 3rd; IL 1st-6th) and Night Of
The Falling Stars (RL 5th; IL 4th-9th) and have visited more than 80,000 schoolchildren with their enrichment programs and books.
They live in Colorado and are available to visit your school anywhere in the world with their books and enrichment program for children on writing, publishing, and the creative process.
They have been visiting schools since 1993.
Wayne and Terry are also the authors of Fierce Blessing: A Journey into Alzheimer's, Compassion, and the Joy of Being, a memoir for adult readers which has been honored by both Hospice Foundation of America and Colorado Book Award. They have written three feature-length screenplays: SINGING IN SHORTHAND, a drama based on the true-life events described in Fierce Blessing; HENRY DAVID, a biography/drama about the writer/philosopher/naturalist/activist of Walden fame; and POOF!, an adaptation of the first book of the children's series. Under the auspices of Prairie Divide Productions they are currently working to bring these projects to the screen, either through collaboration with other production companies or individual film professionals, or through sale to capable and committed entities.
